Information for Viewing, Catalogues & Bidding
Viewing The Cato Crane auctions are open for viewing the day before the auctions. Buyers who live a distance from the auction rooms may, at the discretion of the auction-rooms manager, view the auctions outside normal public viewing times; but please, telephone well in advance of arrival.
Photographs of lots entered for auction can be e-mailed to intending bidders a few days before the day of auction and a detailed verbal condition report can be obtained by telephone from the auction-room manager on duty.
Catalogues
Catalogues of the Cato Crane Antiques and Fine Art auctions may be obtained by post or fax prior to the viewing day. Catalogues for the collectors and general auctions are always available at the auction-rooms. Alternatively, catalogues may be viewed on the
Invaluable website by clicking the Invaluable logo.
Bidding Bidders who are unable to be at the auctions in person may leave written `commission to buy` bids. Bidding forms are available at the auction-room offices. Facilities are also available for bidders to bid live by telephone.
Forthcoming Lots
Many of the lots are photographed prior to being removed from the properties in which they are discovered and can be viewed well in advance of the auctions on the Cato Crane `Upcoming Lots Showcase` page. |
