Antique and Fine Art Auctions
Antiques and Fine Art Auctions are held monthly and usually comprise an assemblage of good quality walnut, rosewood, mahogany and oak period and later furniture. Good silver and jewellery, pictures and prints, pottery and porcelain and many interesting collectors objects of virtue may also be obtained at these auctions.

Specialist Auctions
Specialist auctions of books, textiles, maritime objects, soccer memorabilia and golfing antiques and memorabilia, through Gowland International Golf Auctions, are held when private collections become available for dispersal.

Collectors` Auctions
Auctions, two and sometimes three per week, contain 19th and 20th century mahogany, oak and pine furniture. Ceramics, metalwork, glassware, prints and collectors objects can also be found in these auctions. Many of these objects are suitable for the restoration and export market as well as the private collector and general antiques dealer.

General Auctions
General auctions are held at the Cato Crane second auction rooms at Bathurst Buildings, 33-39 Stanhope Street, which houses the more mundane, but very useful items found in most homes, including gardening equipment, pre and post-war furniture, modern furniture, white-goods and a host of everyday old and modern objects.

Additional Information
Most of the lots offered for sale by auction by Cato Crane are removed from estates nation-wide upon instructions from estate executors or entered for auction by enquirers who use the Cato Crane 3-6-5 day 24 hour Antiques-Advice-Line accessed by telephone or via the Internet and e-mail.

International, national and local transportation of goods can be arranged through the auction room administration office.

Refreshments are available at the auctions from 9.00 am.

Free on-road parking is available adjacent to both auction rooms; free public car parks are close by.
