From the M 56
Leave the M 56 at junction 12 ( Frodsham ) and Follow the signs
to Liverpool Airport.
After crossing the Runcorn Bridge proceed along the A561.
Continue past the Airport, sign-posted `Garston, City Centre
& Albert Dock`. Continue past the `Estuary Business Park`
on the left.
On reaching the `30 MPH` restricted sign, continue through Garston
and follow the signs to `City Centre`. You should now be travelling
along Aigburth Road.
Shortly after passing St. Anne`s Church on the left, crash barriers
will be seen on the left as the road curves slightly to the
right.
At the traffic lights, filter into the left-hand lane and turn
left, sign-posted `Otterspool Promenade`.
Continue along Jericho Lane and at the roundabout turn right,
sign-posted `Docks and Albert Dock`.
Continue along this road for approximately 1.6 miles with the
River Mersey on the left, passing the Britannia Inn, the Jaguar
garage, Harry Ramsdens and the Brunswick Dock on the left.
After passing the BP petrol filling station on the right take
the second turning on the right (you will see the Coburg Public
House on the corner) opposite Liverpool Yacht Marina.
You are now in Stanhope Street.
Cato Crane Buildings are about thirty yards on the right and
free on-road parking is available adjacent to the action rooms.
A welcome will be waiting for you when you arrive.
From the M 62
Follow the signs to the `City Centre`, passing the `Edge Lane Retail Park` on your left.
Proceed down Edge Lane, passing McDonalds on the left and continue.
You will notice a park at the bottom of the hill on the left;
this was the former site of the Liverpool Botanical Gardens.
Continue on up the hill for about two hundred yards until you
reach St. Cyprian`s Church on the left.
At this church, there are traffic lights. Turn left here into
Durning Road and cross straight over the next set of traffic
lights into Tunnel Road and proceed until you reach the next
traffic light junction. Filter into the right hand lane at this
junction and turn right into Upper Parliament Street and then
continue down the hill into Parliament Street passing over five
sets of traffic lights.
You will observe Liverpool`s Anglican Cathedral on the right
and gain a view of the River Mersey.
Right at the bottom of Parliament Street, filter into the left-hand
lane and turn left into Sefton Street.
Take the first turn left at the Coburg Public House into Stanhope
Street.
Park you car and when you arrive at the auction rooms we will
welcome you.
From the Wirral and M 53
On leaving the Kingsway Tunnel (known locally as the `new` tunnel),
continue along the dual carriageway for approximately 0.25 miles
and filter into the right-hand lanes.
At the traffic lights turn right into `Leeds Street` sign-posted
`Albert Dock` and proceed with the flow of traffic passing the
Audi garage on the left and the BMW garage on the right and
bear left across the junction until the Liver Buildings are
on your right.
Proceed along the `Dock Road` passing the Albert Dock on your
right and as you approach the Campanile and Dolby Hotels filter
into the right-hand lane and turn half right which is sign-posted
`Widnes A 561, `Liverpool Marina and Speke Hall`.
Stanhope Street is at the first left turning, just past the
Coburg Public House and opposite Liverpool Yacht Marina.
Cato Crane Buildings are on the right and a welcome will await
you on your arrival.
On-road parking is freely available adjacent to the auction
rooms. |
