Total and accurate history from the
day it was made ..... originally owned by White Horse Breweries in
East Anglia and then by Greene King Breweries ...... it was then
laid up for many years in a collectors garage.
Totally original except for `Flying
A` and the hubcaps......
The sign writing is on a magnetic
panel and It has never been sign written over the
paintwork ....... neither has it had any panel damage .....
There were 78,000 manufactured of
which about 25 survive in good condition world wide ... there are
two in this condition in the UK as far as we know .... the other
being in the Beaulieu Motor Museum....
This vehicle was
restored about twelve years ago with no stinting on the cost or labour and a
full photographic record is available. The restorer is willing to
explain the extent of the restoration.
The van won the `Best Counties Car`
about nine years ago ....
The interior is
original and in VERY good order with the original, although
slightly worn, rubber matting and the original delivery disc attached to the
windscreen ... but now faded !!!
The shown mileage is 78,000 approx.
At the Mersey Tunnel Diamond
Jubilee National Show it won `Best Post-war Commercial`
This a well known vehicle in the
Austin Counties Club and it needs a special home.....
